This is what happened when Port Vale came to play.
TIWN Media started as three individuals with one common goal: to shout out about the amazing wealth of musical and artistic talent that Wales has – crossing over geographic and linguistic barriers to promote talent via worldwide radio shows, podcasts, magazines, live events and television often working in partnership with other like-minded individuals and organisations.
We provide PR, radio plugging, affordable and high-quality merchandise, live performance opportunities, interviews, digital media support, social media promotion and industry advice. Other projects we currently have going on are:
‘TIWNFEST’ is an annual music festival that showcases over 20 acts over two stages. From covers, tributes to original music. Combining music and the creative arts for a special c community event that is fun for all the family.
‘Artist on Artist’ is a new project that takes away the formal format of an interview and removes the interviewer. Instead, both artists will ask and answer questions in a conversation style with one another. Talking about the industry, their experiences, the do’s, the don’ts, people they’ve worked with, gigs they’ve done, what to stay away from, what has been memorable, the current streaming debate, etc etc… Nothing is off limits. It’s a fun, informational way of promoting grassroots and independent music in Wales.
The ‘inaugural’ Celynen Film Festival will illustrate the art of film-making, promote Welsh filmmakers, nurture young talent and bring attention to often marginalised communities and projects. The festival takes place over three days, 24th-26th May 2024 at Newbridge Memo, with the main day coinciding with our annual music festival.
