Getting To Know You: Dangerous Debbie Loosemore

Q. How long have you been with the Newport City Radio team, Deb and what is your role?

A. My partner Mark Hawkeye Harris and I joined in 2014. We co-present the Breakfast Show with Lamsie and previously we were on the Hump Day show. We’ve also presented the monthly Newport City Show, where we got to chat with local people about local topics. Oh yes, and we go out and about with the events team as chief banner erectors!!!

Q. What do you like best about being on the team?

A. It’s fun. I love everything we do.

Q. What song makes you want to dance?

A. Twisting the Night Away by Sam Cooke

Q. We all love cake here at Newport City Radio but what kind of cake do you think is best?

A. Chocolate cake.

Q. When you were 10 what would you have liked to have taken up as a career?

A. I’d like to have been a chef. I enjoy cooking.

A. Visit the Transporter Bridge and find out about its history.
