We were there!

For the second consecutive year, AEW held its showpiece event, All In, at the iconic Wembley Stadium. However, compared to 12 months ago, there was significantly more hype leading into this event. Many fans considered AEW’s go-home show in Cardiff on Wednesday to be the best in the company’s history.

Kickoff Show:

The event began with an unannounced 16-man All-Star tag team match featuring Anthony Ogogo, Satnam Singh, Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver), Ariya Daivari, Private Party, and Jay Lethal vs. Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero, Kip Sabian, Tommy Billington, Top Flight, and Leo Rush.

Winners: Kyle Fletcher, Rocky Romero, Kip Sabian, Tommy Billington, Top Flight, and Leo Rush.

The show got off to a hot start with the 16-man tag. Tony Khan had already hinted at an AEW debut in Australia during a media call on Thursday, and during the Zero Hour, it was officially announced that Grand Slam Australia would take place next year.

Match Two:

Mixed Tag Team Match – Stokely Hathaway & Kris Statlander vs. Willow Nightingale & Tomohiro Ishii (Winner picks the stipulation at All Out)

Hathaway quickly tagged in Statlander. The two women showed great chemistry in the ring, and there was a loud pop for the hot tag. Ishii was incredibly over with the crowd.

Winners: Ishii & Nightingale. Although no stipulation was announced after the match, it’s likely to be revealed on this week’s Dynamite.

Tony Schiavone introduced Dr. Martha Hart and Tony Khan at the top of the ramp. Tony Khan welcomed the crowd and handed the mic to Dr. Hart, who wished the competitors well and praised Mariah May and Bryan Danielson for winning the Owen Hart trophy. As teased on Friday, the Forbidden Door event was officially announced for August 24th, 2024, during the bank holiday weekend. The venue is yet to be announced.

Match Three:

**Gates of Agony** (Brian Cage, Bishop Khan & Toa Liona) & Matt Taven & Mike Bennett (Undisputed Kingdom) vs. Sammy Guevara, Dustin Rhodes, Katsuyori Shibata & The Von Erichs

Another multi-man match where the babyfaces picked up the win, with Rhodes getting the pin.

Jamie Hayter made her long-anticipated return to AEW in her home country! Saraya came out to cut a promo about being the best female wrestler to come out of the UK, only for Hayter to interrupt, marking her first appearance in over a year.

In a change from the norm, the participants in the first match of the main event began making their entrance with 10 minutes remaining on the kickoff show.

House of Black’s music hit, and the four-way trios match kicked off the main event. They looked intimidating with impressive masks and face paint. Next out was the Bang Bang Gang, with Juice Robinson wearing attire dedicated to Mick Foley. Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, and PAC (who received a huge ovation, having missed out on last year’s All In) followed. The final team was the defending champions, The Patriarchy, led by Christian Cage.
