2025 Love Live Music Song Contest

This year there are two themes: “Feel Good” and “Christmas”  

What makes you feel good? How could you do something to change someone else’s world so they feel good? Who is your hero? 

Could you create a song that makes people want to dance, singlong, feel grateful, appreciate the good things in life? Who makes your world a better place? These are a few ideas to get you started.

Or do you just love Christmas? Come December, we’ll be wanting to fill our radio shows with seasonal songs by local artists. A good Christmas song lives forever!

Look out for more news about these awards in the coming weeks but for now, why not get those creative juices flowing and enjoy the challenge!

To enter, email a recording of your song to kym.frederick@newportcityradio.org  and make a minimum £5 donation on our Local Giving page

IMPORTANT…if you would like to have your song played on our radio shows, please send it to us in WAV or mp3 format as we cannot use streaming links/youtube for the radio.
