Let’s talk about catching Pokémon as this has become a little bit different. The first thing you’ll notice is that the backdrop is now different, and what I like about this is that I think it’s now a large spherical image, and they change the axis for every encounter so that the backdrop looks a little bit different which is a really nice touch. Remember before you had to really spin the ball to get it to curve, you now only need the slightest touch to get the ball to curve, which is really crazy to me.
Now something that I like to point out about the nice, great, and excellent throws, is apparently they don’t award any bonus experience anymore. I imagine they still help you catch a Pokémon, but they don’t give you an extra amount of experience. The only thing you get from this now is throwing curve balls, which again still only gives you 10XP.
The final bit of new information about Pokémon Go, which doesn’t really pertain to this update as it happened a little earlier, but they now have changed some of the spawning mechanics of certain Pokémon. So if you have already found a Pokémon Nest you would have noticed these areas that are populated by one Pokémon.
So that’s a perfect reason to go an head outside, catch some new Pokémon that you have never caught before in your area, and let me know in the comment section below if you find anything new. If there is anything that I have missed out regarding the update then do let me know as well, as I want us to all be informed and clued up as possible.
