Lamsie has radio in his DNA!

From falling in love with Radio 1 in the 1980’s to hospital radio, setting up a school radio, a spectacular A-Level fail with phoenix like rise via Crosskeys College onto a very respectable degree in broadcasting (including the designing of a video tape-based radio project). In the early 2000’s, Ian became an internet radio presenter and commercial radio sales executive, which has all led to the wonderful local internet radio project that is Newport City Radio. As Managing Director. he has led this community interest company that has supported over 1000 volunteers since 2008.
