My Journey Through Time and Space My Doctor who Story My Doctor story from Behind the Sofa  to Beyond Stars

The Genesis of a Whovian: Hooked from the First Jump

It all started that one Saturday evening I sat down with my Dad  as a young to watch an episode of a sci-fi show call Doctor Who where it felt like I was thrown into this story from the jump with this mystery’s man called The Doctor  with a blue box that could go anywhere in time and space and time. As I was watching I found myself getting slowly getting  emersed into the wonder and magic of the storyline the credits rolled on this partially episode  from that point on I was hocked into the show.

Through Childhood and Beyond: My Doctors and Their Worlds

From that point going forward I remained a massive fan of the though out my childhood or though   I did remember seeing the Nineth Doctor on screen playing  the dashing Timelord truly  The Doctor     who started it all off for me was the brilliant Daivd Tennent I felt myself drawn towards  his stories for a few examples of 3  my favourite from his era

Waters Of Mars (2009 special) A chilling and morally complex tale that showcased the darker side of the Doctor’s power 9/10

Girl in The Fireplace (season 2)

A beautifully romantic and heartbreaking story that explored themes of love and loss across time 8/10

 Blink (season 3)

A terrifying and ingenious episode that introduced the Weeping Angels and proved that you don’t need the Doctor on screen constantly to deliver a truly impactful story. 9/10

‘ve had the incredible experience of growing up alongside the show through multiple eras. From the energetic revival under Russell T Davies, through the intricate storytelling of Steven Moffat, and now into the present day, along with that I’ve seen the Doctor go though many faces the likes of

Matt Smith

Peter Capaldi

Jodie Whittaker

Just to name a few

I’ve watched the The Doctor battle countless monster some of which had me hiding behind the sofa like The Cybermen and The Daleks. From dressing up as the Doctor when I was a small boy to now being adult eagerly awaiting  the next instalment of Doctor Who magazine it has to be said this show will forever be a massive part of my life to an extent that as ive got older i found myself wanting try my hand at writing my own story  which I have been loving since I stared.

it’s become my ultimate comfort show. Whether I’m buzzing with happiness, feeling low and needing a lift, or even just venting some frustration, putting on an episode feels like coming home. It’s a constant, reliable source of wonder and familiarity.

That sense of wonder and excitement hasn’t faded one bit as an adult. I still get that thrill of exploring the unknown alongside the Doctor. But as I’ve gotten older, my appreciation has deepened. I’ve started to look behind the curtain, becoming fascinated by the craft that brings these stories to life.

Lastly I know the show is going though a difficult time at present this is partly why I wanted to express my love and passion for the show this blog it is a show  that ive grown up alongside for the past 20+ years
