The GAVO award interviews – Part 7 – Bethan from Circus of Positivity

Each day thousands of people give their time freely to protect the environment, lead youth activities, preserve our heritage, support those in need and respond to international crisis.

Taking place this September and October, the annual GAVO awards will celebrate the incredible work of volunteers in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly and Newport. The awards are an opportunity to say thank you to those that make a positive impact in their community.

Circus of Positivity CIC is a not-for-profit group based in Newport, South Wales. They aim to promote physical and mental wellbeing in our local community through the provision of juggling and ground-based circus activities. They have a strong focus on wellbeing and creative expression and provide opportunities for workshop and event attendees to learn circus skills in a relaxed social setting, where every achievement, big or small, is celebrated, and mistakes and setbacks are regarded as nothing but opportunities to learn and support one another.
