Some big news!

Newport City Radio is thrilled to announce its relocation to the vibrant heart of the community, Unit 42 at Kingsway Shopping Centre.

Newport City Radio was made an irresistible offer from the Kingsway Shopping Centre management team. This new space offers a fresh canvas for our initiatives after receiving extensive repairs. This move marks a significant step forward in our journey to better serve our audiences.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to Niall, Niamh, Chris, and Ben for their dedication in transforming what was once an empty shell into a place of inspiration.

The unit is set to undergo further transformation, thanks in part to a shopfront improvement grant from Newport Now, aimed at enhancing our shopfront and overall presence in the area. 

We are also grateful to Newport Now for their support in revitalizing the exterior of our new location. Their grant will allow us to create a welcoming space that reflects our commitment to our community.

From the end of July onwards, the doors of our new studios will be open to the public. We invite everyone to drop by, experience our work first hand, and share a friendly moment over tea or coffee.

We can’t wait to welcome you to our new home and showcase what we have in store.

The move to Kingsway represents a new chapter in our commitment to enhancing community culture and connectivity.
