🎤 You Will Laugh is at Le Pub on Tuesday the 7th of February. It is a comedy show with Chris Chopping hosting. Doors open at 8.30 and tickets are pay what you want. For more information, go here

🎤 Mark Beumont is at the Riverfront with his talk ‘Faster’ on the Saturday the 8th of February. The talk is about his adventures that took him to 100 countries around the world. The talk starts at 7.30 and tickets are £18.50. More information and tickets are available here 

🎸 Queens is at the Dolman Theatre between the 8th and 11th of February. Newport Playgoers Society brings you two one act plays, Untucked and The Regina Monologues. Performances start at 7.15pm, with a 2pm matinee on the Saturday. Tickets are £15 and available here

🎸 Port ELECTRO February Club Night is at Stow Hill Rooms on Friday the 10th of February. It is their first Club Night of 2023 bringing you another night of alternative music from the 70s 80s and 90s. Money raised goes to St David’s Hospice Care. For more information, go here

🩰 Deja Vu is at the Riverfront on Sunday the 12th of February. This is a 10th anniversary gala show from Charlotte May Academy, featuring pupils from ages 3 to 25. The show starts at 6pm and tickets are £19.50. For more information and tickets go here

⚽️ Newport County is playing Stevenage at Rodney Parade on Tuesday the 14th of February. Kick off is at 7.45pm and Sounds of Revelry is playing in the marquee. 

🎭 The Public Theatre is back at The Place Newport on the 14th of February. Tin Shed Company is looking for people to join their diverse group of creative people, to take part in professional productions and learn new skills. 🎺 The Welsh Open Brass Band Entertainment Championship is at the Riverfront on Saturday the 18th of February. 14 bands are competing for the CISWO Challenge Trophy. The event starts at 11am and tickets are £10. For more information and tickets go here

🏈 Newport RFC is playing Swansea at Newport Stadium on the 18th of February. Kick off is at 2.30pm

🎸 Oxbowlake is at the Little Tap House on Saturday the 18th of February. They are being supported by Ollie P. Doors open at 7pm and tickets are £6.13. More information and tickets are available here

🎭 Cinderella is at the Dolman Theatre between the 21st and 25th of February. The performance is by Newport pantomime society. Performances start at 7pm, except for on Saturday, when it is at 2.15pm. Tickets are £13 and available here

🎸 Attila the Stockbroker is at Le Pub on Wednesday the 22nd of February.  It is a one man show with dub poetry, spoken word, acoustic songs and early music. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door. For more information and tickets go here

🎸 Woman Like Me is at the Riverfront on Thursday the 23rd of February. This Little Mix tribute show has live vocals and is full of commercial pop video choreography. The show starts at 7pm and tickets are £15. For more information and tickets, go here 

🎤 The Comedy Shed is at the Riverfront on Friday the 24th of February. This monthly cabaret style comedy club stars three professional comedians. The line up is yet to be confirmed. Doors open at 7.45pm and tickets are £15. For more information and tickets, go here

🧁 The artisan market is at Newport Market on Saturday the 25th of February between 10am and 4pm. Entry is free.

🎟️ Our Voice Sharing 2023 is at the Riverfront on Saturday the 25th of February. It is an informal annual gathering for artists to bring together and discuss their passion for the arts and culture.   • Hubble Music and Movement at the Riverfront from 10am to 1pm. Music, movement and sensory play for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. £5 per class. For more information and booking, go here 
Wednesday 
  • HATCH Youth Theatre at the Riverfront. Ages 5-7 from 4.30 to 5.30, ages 8-11 from 5.45 to 6.45 , ages 12-16 from 7 to 8.30pm (term time only) £5 per class
  • Potter on ceramics club for adults at the Riverfront from 6pm to 8pm (term time only). Learn how to make, dry, glaze and kiln fire pottery. Price for a term is £50, materials are provided. For more information and booking, go here 
Thursday 
  • Over 60s dance at the riverfront from 12.30 to 2pm (term time only). Fun and friendly class to improve coordination, body awareness, mobility and stamina. £5 per class. For more information and to book, go here

Friday
  • Capoeira at the Riverfront from 5 to 6pm. an Afro-Brazilian martial art combining music, movement and acrobatics for ages 6-10. Classes are £5. Book here 
  • Sewing club is at Re:Make between 1pm and 3pm. £1 suggested donation
Saturday
  • STEM club at Re:Make between 1.30 and 3pm (last Saturday of each month). A workshop including STEM activities for adults and kids. £5 suggested donation
